There's never any good reason to actually destroy an item of that value, though - it could always be auctioned off and the proceeds used to reduce the nation's overall tax burden for that year. Even if it were a cut-n-shut there would be value in the parts, crushing it whole is such a waste

Listing too the video, the car was a prototype, the get crushed anyway when production starts.

Agree with the pre production prototype.

By law they have to be crushed within a certain time limit, i have myself seen a Vanquish crushed and several Jaguars, it is a crying shame to see them get destroyed.

Why cant they sell even the wheels off them or the interior, its stupid.
