Any docklanders can recommend a restaurant in Canary Wharf that is not uber expensive that is likely to be not too busy at 9pm this evening?

Lots of places in Google lists - looking for a practical recommendation.

There is a stunning Italian restaurant along one of the canalsides just to the east of Canary Wharf, can't remember the name of it though I'm afraid!

Smollensky's is a safe-ish bet for <30/head

Browns is nice, as is Carluccios.

Lived there for a year and ate all over the place -easy to pay over the odds for naff food there.

Turns out that Smolenskys was open - there is a page on the web says they have shut down.

In the end my friend was SO late that we ended up having a very quick supper at Tiffinbites - nice Samosa Chaat
