Whats the difference between raisins, sultanas and currants?

Seriously, can somebody enlighten me as i genuinely don't know

Insultanas are dried fruit knowingly introduced into a curry to provoke disgust in the consumer.

Raisin d'etre is having dried fruit as the sole motivation in one's life.
