Question Anyone fancy starting up a Vulcan?

Then get get bidding!

Avro Vulcan Engine Run with Martin Withers - eBay Aeronautica, Transportation, Collectables (end time 04-Oct-07 19:55:05 BST)

You could get to sit in the Vulcan at Saaaarfend innit and do start up stuff from the co pilot seat!

You can only start the engines from the left hand seat, but you can switch the fuel pumps on.

That would give you goose-pimples sitting in that while they fire up the engines!

I think I'll be putting my hard-earned towards airshow entry to watch the restored Vulcan take to the skies, however I'm sure this will be an experience to remember for someone.

Bid up to 400, then I bottled it.
If I could afford it, I would bid till I won, if for no other reason than to shake the hand of Martin Withers
astraboy.

They do do fast taxi runs with the one at Southend, which are open to the public. There's some videos of past ones on Youtube.
