Anyone got a Malamute? (dog)
Just wondered, as I see there are quite a few dog keepers, and some Akita keepers, so wondered if anyone had a Mal.
Should be picking a puppy up on Tuesday I hope
Just spending money like water right now, getting everything else ready

Fantastic choice One of my friends was telling me his mother is breeding these new type of wolf style dogs, GSD, Malamute & something else in them. Northern Inuit or something like that.
Incidentally i was at the Dogs Trust & the Animal Welfare centre yesterday to see if i could see anything that took my fancy, plenty of staffies for some reason. Decided i am going to wait till i come back from Florida before i get another one.
Get the pics up when you get the pup

Right, slight update.
After some checking, we discovered the seller appeared to be nothing but a rude puppy farmer, breeding an under aged dog, no real papers available.
Using a forum called Ice Bay Malamutes. They have been really helpful, so off to see a very highly sought after breeder tomorrow after a meeting, and see if they will bless us with one of their pups when they are ready in a few weeks time.
Awesome dogs though, really cant wait. Spent a fortune already lol

My friends had a Northern Inuit, note the word "had". It was a gorgeous looking dog and was very friendly but trashed the house. It was about 9 months old when they got it and they bought it off the breeder. They think it was a bad chewer then. The kitchen got trashed by it.
And good call on avoiding the puppy farm, the sooner places like that get closed down the better.

Puppy farmers.... nasty scum, just putting out ill dogs, mixing into the bloodlines of good dogs, and ending in more ill dogs.!
