extra thick double cream (or fromage frais or similar) melted in a pan on low heat. chuck in a handful of cheese, all chopped up so it melts quicker - a few different cheeses mixed is nice. lots of black pepper, little bit of salt, probably about a teaspoon of italian herbs. pour that over capelli (angel hair - ie very thin) spaghetti and serve with a cold glass of pino grigio or a sauvignon blanc

takes about 10mins

eat, then fall asleep

also good with pancetta or chopped crispy bacon

Superb!

On a serious note, what about beef stroganoff, easy to make, not too many ingredients and looks / tastes as though its been a lot more effort! About 40 mins from start to finish will see it done!

I love some of those suggestions, pulled a crafty one and bought a ready made Stroganoff, the posh version might i add , she's home soon and i'll tell her i've been slaving away all afternoon. Right time to place it in microwave for 10 mins

Get some ready rolled filo pastry, cut it in two so you`ve got 2 bits the size of a dvd case.
Then half some cherry tomatoes, chop up some chorizo and mozzarella and herbs, pile it in the middle of the pastry leaving about an inch all round the edge drizzle with olive oil whack in the (preheated) oven for half an hour at about 180-200 serve with salad (i buy prepacked or just mix rocket and lettuce) mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar with salt and pepper stir then drizzle over salad.
Serve and enjoy
Goes well with a nice chardonnay too, garenteed lady killer

Dead easy - chicken and potato bake. Fry off some chicken with some mushrooms and spring onions. Pour half a jar of Chicken Supreme sauce over, top with sliced potatoes, and then pour the rest of the source over them.

Bung it in the oven for an hour, then put your feet up!
