Sorry, this could be in Photography or Computers, so I split the difference and put it here

I want to use my new camera tomorrow afternoon. It was delivered without a memory stick. Anywhere I buy one online will only deliver to my house mid-afternoon tomorrow (I'm in the sticks), so too late. I'm happy to go to a shop and buy one but Jessops, PC World don't have them in stock round here (Kent/Sussex), and both of their receptionists say they are marked as discontinued, so I don't expect to find them in other branches.

Tomorrow I will drive from Tunbridge Wells to Stratford on Avon, so can stop in somewhere and pick one up. (A21 - M25 Surrey - M?40 sort of route)

Currys, Dixons, Link only go up to 2GB, which I'd like to avoid (it's a video camera).

Any suggestions of physical shops at not too extortionate prices, who I could ring to see if they have in stock?

What sort of media is it? Perhaps you could get a small one from a shop to tide you over and order one from mymemory.co.uk or suchlike?

Oops, sorry guys - as said, it's memory stick, ie Sony.

Markus, cheers mate, I'll phone them.

TB, thought of it, but I think 2GB won't be enough and would be annoying in the future as too small. Will do that if all else fails though.

EDIT - Pantiles has one for £70, yay!
(I know it's double the web price, but that's the cost of urgency...)

If it's a Sony memory stick, then you could try the Sony Store in RV shopping center (if it's still there), price would probably be even higher than the Pantiles though

There's are some Sony franchises in Worthing and Findon (on A24). I bought a memory stick for a Sony digital recently (although they gave me the wrong one!). If you get stuck mail me and I will try and dig out the name of the shop/s. dl
