Review on the net sums it up for me!!

"You know I mentioned it says “EXTRA HOT”? It’s not kidding. I took a small nibble. “This isn’t hot!” I thought. Then it hit me.

Ouch. Literally. Do not give this thing to a small child unless you raised them on vindaloo. At first I tried nibbling it slowly, in the hope this would keep the intensity of the heat down, but all it did was prolong the aftertaste. You can barely even taste the meat (what you can taste tastes like a normal peperami, ie dried meat); you just get the spicing.. When it became clear that nibbling wasn’t going to work, I wolfed a bit down, in the hope that this would spare my poor burnt taste-buds. While this made the after-taste much more brief, the intensity of the spicing was far greater, and a large quantity of water was required to stop my gums throbbing (and I’m normally *good* with spicy things)."

What you need to try is daves insanity sauce.

In the order of things it goes something like this

A Supernova>----->Daves insanity sauce>------>The Sun>------->A Nuclear explosion>----------->An Impreza Turbo unit>--------->A big fire>--------->Fahl>------->Vindaloo>-------->Madras>-------

The insanity sauce is amazing, its not 1 drop but 1 second exposure to a sauce without the lid on = destuction

I put some insanity sauce on my ex girlfriends chilli con carne once to spice it up a bit she nearly had a heart attack and went ******* absolutely mental at me

Also make sure you do not get this stuff on your skin, the tiniest bit making contact with your eye ,or japseye will have you in agony

Where do I get this insanity sauce from then?

Also, if I put a drop on say a roast potato after cooking, what effect would it have?

(This is completely unrelated to the fact I've got the hump with the other half)

Total gayer.

Dunk a crisp in Insanity Sauce then eat it - available from Sainsburys and highly amusing stuff!
I put hot chilli sauce on almost everything.

Ooh I'll have to try these - I like hot food.

Bombay Badboy pot noodles are ok heat-wise, I don't eat them often as they're pretty void of nutrition, good way of getting a fast heat kick though. I like vindaloos, used to like phall's but I'm a bit out of practice with those these days.

I have a bottle of Insanity sauce in the cupboard, but it doesn't often get used these days - just practical jokes. For cooking I use chopped/blended habanero peppers as you get the flavour (fruity) as well as the heat.

Some supermarkets sell it, or you can get it on line. Hot-Headz! Super Hot Chile Sauces

It's pretty harsh stuff, especially if you're not expecting the heat. I've seen big vindaloo-eating rugby players reduced to tears by this stuff. I also saw someone have a panic attack as they thought their throat was swelling up and stopping them breathing, they were fine though, just hyperventilating.

If you want something really silly try 'Pure Cap' I had a bottle of this too and it's truly insane. I don't think I'd voluntarily do another drop of this on the tongue again without money being involved. Hot-Headz! Untouchable Chile Sauce

Or if you want the worlds hottest product and have deep pockets, try 'Blairs 16 Million Reserve'. Hot-Headz! Untouchable Chile Sauce

I think there is definitely a case of diminishing returns once you get to a certain level. I mean I have tried a lot of sauces, and once you get to "insanity sauce level" it really doen't make much odds.

It's a bit like telling the difference between having your tongue burnt with a soldering iron or a bunsen burner - Both are ****ing ****ing hot

Daves isnt even in the top ten of hot sauces now.

Ive got some Mad dog 357 (think its 3 04 times stonger than daves) at work and evryone who comes to the office has to try it. Just a tiny bit on your finger tip, most people cant hack it. Two dops in a pot noodle is good for a dinner time snck.

Well this is what i mean, "the top ten of hot sauces" is like having the "top ten hottest suns" any one of them is going to burn you to a crisp.

I defy anyone to have a dab of Daves on your fingertip and a dab of Mad Dog on another finger tip and tell me the difference in a blind taste test

You can tell the difffernce, got them both here even got the daves special reserve which comes in a coffin.

Mad dog is 600,000 Scoville Units and standard daves is only 90,000 (which is still fooking hot).

Daves is 180,000 but your Mad Dog rating is spot on

The Scoville Heat Scale for Chilli Peppers and Hot Sauces from ChilliWorld. Compare relative heats all the way to Blair's 6 A.M. - pure capsaicin.

The best use for either is to bring someone who claims to be able to handle anything hot down to size

Very true I love it when people claim to be able to eat anyhot food without any, they get a dab of mad dog on the thier tounge and pretned its not hot, they last about 15 seconds. I have treid it twice on its own and I wont be doing it again.

If you do a search on google you can get most of the sauces off the net.

Not sure of the name it was just down from the kfc in the town centre, it sold all sorts of weird and wonderful foods. In fact it might have been turned into a mikshake bar now

Safest bet could be here if you want to avoid the chav infested streets of plymouth
