Default Fifth Gear, a good episode

Just watched fifth gear and it was basically 99% good!! Really impressed, and to think I only turned it on by accident as I have normally not liked it.

Vicky did a little stupid screaming, and Tiff lost the plot a little at one point during his review, but all was good overall

Long may they continue like this throughout the series

Had to pop out 5 mins in to this. Anyone know if it's downloadable or being repeated? Had a quick look on five.tv but couldn't see anything.

It'll be on Home - UKNova a bit later I expect.

I am stuck in a hotel and watched it, and it was okay. Not a patch on Topgear and all the presenters annoy me.

The bit with the Smart cars ontop of each other was stupid. But apart from that, it was ok.

I'd have liked to have seen a bit more of a review of the new Mondeo estate though.

The Box http://www.thebox.bz/main.php will have it at some point I would expect. Its a private tracker site for all UK TV, membership is currently open I believe (free of course). You just have to watch your upload ratio if you want to stay there.

Mmmmm perhaps Im different, but I found it completely poor. Not much in it, but what was there, was dragged out to fill the hour. Obviously loved the Bugatti bit, but the rest was 5hite !

The Audi / Bmw match, I wish they would go back to the older days, showing the insides more, the engine, some of the gadgets etc etc.

Turd !

Get rid of VBH and that fat hairy gimp and things might look up cos it was generally poor. Only good bits were the Audi/BM, Plato and of course Tiff and the Bugatti.

Hmmm, I only tuned in and saw the last 50%, maybe 60% of the show...perhaps that is the method needed to enjoy it

Thought it was the usual pants performance to be honest, Not sure why its billed as a 1 hour show - could have easily had last nights show as a 30 mins show, for the actual car related bits they show !

VBH is looking old, and cant look at the camera unless she's pulling school girl like faces.

The quality of the show is overall so poor and embrassing, that at times I even cringe on their behalf.

I enjoyed watching that James MAy program on BBC2 at 19:00. Not sure what it iwas, but it had planes in, and boy he has a dry sense of humour ! Was far more enjoyable.

I was the same as you and thought it not bad.

Seems they're getting more plato & tiff, which people wanted to see.

I don't normally watch Fifth Gear but caught the start of it and wanted to see the Veyron.... then followed 40 mins of "have they got to the Veyron yet?" and when they finally did, while it was great seeing inside the factory and the cars Tiff just annoyed me.

I preferred Clarkson's review of it tbh

Odd?

I thought it was a repeat I missed it at 8 so I watched the repeat at 9 on digital but i've seen it before with the Audi R8.

My thoughts exactly. I recorded the Veyron stuff but I just deleted it because I know I'll never be able to sit through it again having to watch that smug pratt showing off.
