Mobile phone with longest battery life with bluetooth ALWAYS ON
Hi folks. Odd question I know but there you go. I have a bluetooth module for the head unit installed in the car and this is really for the other half. I loathe, hate and despise mobile phones for myself, but he no problems with others having them . Basically I want to change her phone to one that lasts as long as possible with the bluetooth always left on. She is far from technically-minded so I just want the car to auto link to it whenever she gets in to be honest.
For a laugh I went in to a couple of phone shops and explained this and just got shown whatever phone was on their top commision for that week, funnily enough . If anyone has any knowledge/experience etc on this that would be most useful.
Cheers,
Nick .

so you want a phone with a good battery. Best to just find one with a high mah rating on the battery. providing it's not got a huge screen or you can at least dim the screen it will last several days on light use. seems an odd question to me.

Nono to car chargers, I am a neat freak and there is no need for wires . I realise that I can get longer life batteries for most phones, I was more interested in if certain phones managed to use their bluetooth more efficiently if that makes sense? Thanks for the replies so far guys, I can't believe that 3 days seems to be the norm, sounds like phones have taken a step backwards!

Thanks Hutton, so the 6021 is a contender. Broadening the search, what about phones with outstanding stock battery life? I could go from there and get a beefier battery like STI wanna subaru said. I don't think it was an odd question, my other half really is shockingly 'simple' when it comes to things like that and I don't want to have to charge a phone every 3 days or so as it seems like jumping back ten years in phone tech to my little brain .

Faultless now ...
Dave
PS: wife has the 6230i and that lasts a long time as well as mentioned above
PPS: the 6021 has a stock battery - you will find though that if you buy a new battery (genuine) after a year or so it has normally got more power ... they call it progress.
