If you don't mind feeling like crap, having dogbreath, problems sleeping, losing a rapid few first pounds and then putting it all back on a soon as you look at anything with carbs in.. then yeah it's great!

It's easy to lose weight on it as you eat virtually no sugar & it's sugar (in many different froms) that makes us all fat b*stards these days. It's a pretty bland existence though which makes it difficult to stick to for a long period. I did it a few years back & went from 14st to about 12.5st. Felt much better for it at the time.

Simple really, get off your computer out your car(hard one that) eat properly, cutout junk food and exercise regular, unfortunately quick fixes don't work and in some cases can make you ill just ask you gp
quick fix diets are for people to make money from people who don't want to put the effort in, not that I'm saying that's you as I don't know you , but you know what I mean, best thing you can do is ask your GP really, but then you know what they will say.
Good luck mate

Did it a few years ago - lost 3 stone quickly but made me feel terrible. It also screwed up my insides so much that it took about a year before they got back to normal.
My family thought I was ill as I was losing weight and looked so drawn and tired and my breath smelt like a toilet.
Oh, and you go days and days without taking a cr4p - thats just not right.
I would never do it again.

Do pressups and situps when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed.
Aim to increase the numbers in each session by 100% each week. Its very basic, but will help add some stomach and upper body tone,
Cut out beer, wine, excess carbs, excess sugars, excess fats and drink loads of water.
Should be able to shift up to a stone in three weeks if you are active enough with no dodgy diet side effects.
Honest to God, its not even difficult to figure out what's good for you. Why
people pay good money for books on dieting is beyond me....

Ive just started as I need to lose a few stone. Diets are good if you can stick to them, however sorry to say the only way of maintaining is by exercise. I have lost close to a stone in a few weeks by exercising every night for 20 to 30 mins (combination of running machine, cycling up hills, and some weights for upper body tone - tend to change my routine everyday) Still drink beer at weekends but admit to having cut down. I am also taking a legal supplement that works on the principle of thermogenics it raises core body temperature slightly and gives energy, with me also works as an appetite supressent. It also increase the metabolitsm. I never used to believe it but drinking plenty of water per day really does help, and have your meals at regular times.
I have now got in the mindset that if I dont exercise I feel guilty.

The exercise doesn't have to be too scary - just try leaving the car at home and walking more. If I'm just nipping into town for a couple of things I'll usually walk (2 miles). Saves me the 80p to park too!

Around 2000, Atkins started to develop a heart condition, cardiomyopathy, which he claimed was unrelated to his diet.[1][2] On April 18, 2002, Atkins suffered a cardiac arrest. He made a recovery and returned to work.
On April 8, 2003, Atkins slipped on ice and fell in front of his medical office in New York City and sustained major head injuries that put him in a coma. News of this quickly turned into rumors that Atkins had a heart attack while he was on his own diet. He never recovered from his injuries, and subsequently died on April 17 of kidney failure.[3] By mistake, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office released Atkins' medical records to the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a group associated with PETA and which advocates a vegetarian diet. The record stated his weight to be approximately 255 lb (116 kg) at the time of death.[2] In terms of simple height/weight measure (BMI), this would mean he was obese; the apparent irony of a diet guru being obese caused the information to be circulated around the world by the media and animal rights groups, much to the distress of his family. The Atkins company released a statement claiming that he weighed only 196 lb (89 kg) upon admission to the hospital and that his apparent increase in weight was due to fluid retention following the failure of his major organs.[4] William Leith interviewed him in the period between his cardiac arrest and his fall. Leith writes, "He looks to be just under 6 feet tall and around 200 lbs – not skinny, not thin, but definitely not fat. The jowls around his neck are fairly minimal, signs of age rather than excess weight."[5]
