Looks very good,

How tight a fit is it, ie is it easy to nick or will it blow away at 120+.

Will it fit a 96?

It is held in pretty well by 5 brackets and should be pretty damn strong (304 stainless steel). It will fit from 93 to 98, I have to check fitting on 99 - 00 cars, if anyone can help?
