Detox
I am going on a major fitness regime starting tomorrow, not because i have fell in love with 60 bottles of Stella for £20 over the past few months but because i feel i need to.
So can anyone recommend any plans & diets they are on / tried i am going to venture up the stairs in the Gym as well instead of just using the wet area
Cheers

The only true way to detox is to abstain from alcohol and drink water instead
Personally, I'd wait till after the summer as there must be loads of BBQ's planned for once the weather improves

If you wait and wait you'll never do it. The man wants to start now, don't tell him not too!
As has been said already, drink lot's of water. Minimum is 4 pints a day, so start drinking 8 a day. It makes such much difference.
As for exercise, i've always found running or cycling to be the most effective. But, you will need to do 4 30-40minute sessions a week to see a difference.
Also, get yourself a heartrate monitor watch. During the exercise sessions, you want to aim for around 150bpm.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Companies who make mineral water recommend 1.5 litres of water a day. They infer that this is 1.5 litres of water you need to drink each day, which is utter bollox.
Most of the daily fluid you need is in the food you eat - especially fruits, veg, meats etc.
Drowning your innards with far more water than your body needs will just help you feel more full than you are and make you wee a lot more often. Dont be misguided into thinking that this constant trek to the loo is "detoxing"... It isnt.
It was tongue in cheek re the waiting till the end of the summer for your detox. Simply not drinking alcohol for a month will see pounds come off you - that alone is worth a try. Add to that 3 half hourly cardio vascular excercise routines a week (try cycling/running/swimming as a mix) which will make you feel a lot better and give you a mental lift too.
Also - it's worth entering some charity sports events or setting some other form of personal fitness goals as these act as a massive insentive to keep healthy. - I "climbed" Snowdon in May, Cycled 42 miles yesterday and achieved a childhood ambition to cycle to Southport and back from my house (I hit "the wall" and got through it too ). Next week I cycle 54 miles for charity and in September am doing a charity run... Still to do this year is Scafell Pike aswell
