Thumbs down Aspartame poisoning

Hello folks, i really don't want to spoil your new year or anything. But these poisons and toxins are frightening at what they will do to your body.Anything that is suger free/fat free/ low fat has additives in it.Aspartame caused me massive stress throughout my whole life ( 28 years old now ) causing me to lose my hair at one point & have massive weight gain.Still with underlying stress isssues because of aspartame. The medical doctor gave me Abilify ( Aripiprazole )20 mgs per day to control my anxiety, something aspartame causes. The only way to rid of these toxins is with this lady from America Dr Hull & her detox programme.www.sweetpoison.com is the web address. Please spread the word about.

Nathan.

as much as its nice of you to spread the word,

think most people know the stuff isnt good - yours sounds a very extreme case, but regardless it is not good for you.

although if that sight you recommend is for a "dr" ect or nutritionalist wishing to dish out the advice and encourage people to worry, and if your preying on that fear, or hyping it up for an income - eg you charge a joining fee, or sell a diet or anything even remotley related to generating income - then please go to the approach the board and pay your fees to advertise.

if its all free, and not one of these over-hyped sickening sites whose purpose is to increase worry, and its genuinely aiming to provide free info of a sensible nature then great stuff. but its already widely available mate

If you include snopes, junk science, myth and hysteria in your google searches it will help.

To be fair I read it as spam too, a little bit random too.

However having a quick check through your previous 46 posts it seems you post on related subjects to do with anxiety and sleep etc so maybe it just your style.

I do wonder where you have been to make only 47 posts since 2003.....do you have another username?

Now here's a thing: my youngest who has recently got a degree in chemistry from Hull, will under NO circumstances eat/drink anything with aspartame in it.

He is convinced the stuff is a toxin and carcinogenic. So there!

Send him here with his evidence alcazar?

ScooByer, I take it you are non on the orodispersible aripiprazole... you will be well aware that aspartame is an excipient in many prescription medications.

Aspartame is bloody lethal. I work for Cadburys and our new stick pack process uses this stuff. I'm glad I'm nowhere near it.

It's not just aspartame Kwik, there is fructose syrup too. You'll find aspartame under natural flavourings in food plus e numbers too. There are over 6,000 products reported in America.Stay away from anything low calorie, suger free, low fat, fat free.I'm sure organic milk is fine.Stay away from soft drinks too like coke/diet coke.

Load of rubbish. That list of side-effects covers just about every symptom out there to fool people like you in to believing you need to purchase whatever American nonsense this woman is tryin to sell.

I always chose the low-fat/fat-free/light options and won't drink anything unless it's sugar-free or diet, and have done that for the last 6-7years.
I've not had any problems so far from it.

As it happens, I was on abilify for a year or so and it was nothing to do with aspartame.

If aspartame is such a deadly ingredient (and I'm not saying it isn't), how can food and drinks companies still get away with using it? Wouldn't government food agencies or whatever ban it's use?

Well HFCS is not just fructose then is it.

If aspartame was illegal then it wouldn't be in our food. Nobody could 'get away with it', don't talk ****.
