BBC NEWS | UK | 'Most dangerous' roads revealed
All appear to be oop North !!
Are we sure it's not caused by the locals staring at the sheepies?

Speedking,
I travel the A1079 twice a week and it has 13 fixed cameras (7 on the 1079 Beverley By-pass and 6 at Market Weighton) plus pretty well every lay-by is a potential Talivan site as well. Reason it is dangerous is most of it is a 60 limit and you get lorries and morons doing 40 and everyone else getting impatient. Also lots of hidden dips.
Cheers, Diccy.

Sounds just like the A46 between Market Rasen and Grimsby! It was a lousy road even when I was young. Too many dips, corners and impatient drivers

I'd like to see those statictics split up with fair weather bikers filtered out. Because they are usually like lemmings off a cliff when it comes to riding fast on a road known for its accident blackspots.
Just for fairness and balance, I also like to see the statistics for accidents where the involved party was a cotton bud pulling out of a junction and then carrying on at 20mph on a NSL road.
