I had a Toshiba E800 with bluetooth GPS & TomTom when it first came out. Was a bit of a nightmare TBH, it would often crash, leaving you in the middle of nowhere with no Satnav, and it would also wipe the diary and contacts so you couldn't find out where you were supposed to be goingeither!!

This was early days so its probably improved a bit by now. I ended up just using the PDA as a PDA and getting a TOMTOM satnav for the car which is great. I have run the power cable under the dash so no nasty dangling wires either, it can look a bit of a spiters web.

Run a HP iPAQ 2210 PocketPC with M$ PocketPC 2003. No problems with a Bluetooth GPS and TomTom 5.1.

Sure more recent versions of Windows Mobile / TomTom are even more stable.

Works for me, only had a few issues with it in the UK, it was a bit more sketchy when I was using it in a hire car in some rural parts of Italy.

Sure TomTom 6 would be even further improved.

I'm similar to Olly K, as I use HP 6515 with TT6. It's PDA, Sat Nav and phone/camera in one. Very impressed with it as I use GPRS for mobile email and web. I'm based in Spain but have all maps from here in the South of the country all the way back to England. Had another PDA (as opposed to PDA Smartphone) couple of years ago and had probs with TT freezing etc. but so far so good with this one (plus the receiver is built in), and I also got it for a bargain...299 Euro (£220) as a special offer in a big electrical chainstore here...

Certainly is, would be better if I could persuade work to enable GPRS on my SIM but it look like they are going to give me a data locked Blackberry instead
