What the best (cheapest) Satnav voice system flip screen jobs or do I go for a PDA and Sat nav addon ??

I had the Smartnav installed in my STi7. Its really quite simply the best you can get. If you buy the unit which never goes out of date (i.e. CD's become obsolete)and subscribe for 4 years all in its about £950-£1k. No display to nick, no big screen on the dash, no changer in boot or under seat. You can also give them a company name, partial address, and they will find it for you. You can book theatre tickets, find the nearest Petrol station, order flowers etc etc.

That is very, very cool! Especially the traffic detection feature. Maggie Philbin is getting on a bit though... and I wouldn't want to work in the call centre.

Trouble is, little widescreen LCDs are also very very cool. My heart would be set on getting a pointless TV screen if I were to spend thousands on SatNav. But that's just me being a fool.

Their next phase so a birdy tells me is to put on every truvello and spec camera in the uk and Ireland, now that will be really good!!

As for Maggie, well she used to be quite sexy (how old am I????)
