www.dabs.comhave them for around £193.
I'm going to wait until January 'cos I reckon there will be some deals going.
I quite fancy the GT3 pack so if you find a good deal post it up.
Merry Christmas!

Yhere will be NO deals going on a PS2 next year, until winter at least.
The price has just dropped to £199 and is a bargain for a machine with a wealth of games and DVD playback.
Pay £193 from Dabs and save yourself £6! I only hope that includes carriage.
You bunch of tight wads.

well certainly not till the xbox or gamecube hit the streets then i predict that will sony will drop the price a little more to make it more appealing against the new consoles.
so speaks mystic meg of the gaming world
Interesting to note that nintendo have confirmed a spring launch for gamecube in the uk (in computer trade weekly) BUT are concerned that as sales in japan and usa have been higher than expected they are worried that they will have siffucient stock for a major european launch.........

Cryptwalk - I'll bet you a tenner it doesn't happen. A Sony PS2 for £135 in March.
X-Box will launch for £299 at least, and have only 1 or 2 AAA titles.
GameCube will launch for £199 I reckon and have only a handful of games.
I just don't see the need for Sony to drop to £135, yet.

Based on the three launch titles (jap ones) i've played on the cube, and wot i've played of the cubes starwars starfighter game at a friends i see every reason for the ps2 to drop.
Will comment on the gamecube on boxing day when i collect mine

No, you misunderstand - I've been an advocate of the GameCube from day one.
I just don't see why Sony would need to drop the price of PS2 yet - maybe's in the US where there hasn't been a price drop yet, but not over here.
It has a wealth of games for it now, which counts for a lot.
