Sea of Fire - HMS Coventry in The Falklands War
Caught the trailer for this yesterday. Looks pretty good so thought I would give a heads up to the community..
HISTORY DOCUMENTARY: Sea of Fire
On: BBC 2 Midlands (2)
Date: Friday 1st June 2007 (starting in 1 day)
Time: 21:00 to 22:00 (1 hour long)
During the Falklands War, HMS Coventry brought down more aircraft than any other ship. At the height of the conflict, Coventry was sent to lure enemy bombers away from the troops landing in San Carlos Bay. On 25 May 1982, after surviving two raids and shooting down three enemy planes, the crew believed they had weathered the storm, but then the Argentineans launched one last attack. For the first time in 25 years, the men of HMS Coventry tell their dramatic story.
(Stereo, Widescreen, Subtitles, Audio Described)
