Got the Dolce Gusto and it's a doddle to use. All the coffees (Latte, Espresso, Capp, Lungo and Choc) taste fantastic.
£3 for 8 cups aint that cheap though!
And they're cups, not mugs. Fill a mug with one and it tastes slightly less watery than cat wee

I have a senseo machine that was left by the last owner of the place I live. I'd liken the product that comes out of it to what you'd get when you wash out the coffee 'gruts' that have been lying around in a cafetiere- if you drank it.
Insipid, lukewarm weak and watery- quite revolting.

Would rate the Senseo as rubbish using Doewe Egberts pods, it's much better using Kenco pods although still not great. Not enough coffee and not hot enough. Wouldn’t buy another.
From what I’ve read Nespresso is the way to go, although probably at greater cost.

Get a Nespresso machine!
Not cheap, around £150 for a magimix cube variety, but makes gorgeous coffee.
Pods are about 25p each from Nespresso Nespresso™: the Art of Espresso. An exclusive Espresso Machine Range & 12 Coffee Premium Blends and come in boxes of 10. Loads of different varieties depending on strength taste etc.
