Getting a bluetooth phone & my car kit to speak to each other......
In my car is a Nokia handsfree kit - dont know much about these, but it has a "Nokia" button on the dash and a little thing to speak into in the roof lining just above my head.
It was already installed when I got the car and there was no documents at all for it when I got the car.
I want my Blackberry work phone to link to it - any ideas?
I tried activating the Bluetooth on the phone, it seems to find the car kit, but then asks for a code for the car kit, which I don't have.
Firstly am I doing things right and secondly, if so, is there a way to get the code ?

What about trying a Sony HCB-300 we have one in HCs car and it takes 5 different phones with bluetooth and works a treat
We also have the car audio kit as well so it puts the audio of the car kit throught the car speakers.
(Hux posting on err indraws PC)

if the button is a gold/brass colour its an old first gen bluetooth kit.these all have seperate pairing codes for each kit.if you have no paperwork for the kit the only way to find out the code is to find the phone kit brain( a smallish black box ) on the bottom there is a id tag/sticker and the pass no is a 4 didget code on there if the sticker isnt there of damaged as not readable then its a no go im afraid
