Question van hire

Hi,

I need to hire a van to pick up some stuff. Only need it for 1 day.
Wheres the best and cheapest place to go?

County motors are very good if you are based in manc..luton with tailift for about 85 a day.

A local firm will be way better than a national/franchise. The Yellow Pages is your friend...

Thanks guys. A smal transit kind of size in the Southampton area is what I'm after. Any idea what cost Im looking at roughly?

£25-£30 per day for a local alright Tranny from a local firm (for local people).

Thanks again I'm quite capable of using Google- just thought I'd see if anyone could point me in the right direction a bit faster seeing as I've never hired before.

Enterprise is best bet, branches in almost every town. Thats who we use, good prices too

One thing to be aware of with hire vehicles is the previous hirers, and the muck/germs they leave behind. A bloke I used to work with caught a really nasty virus from a hire van, they eventually found the source of bacteria to be the tuning **** on the radio!

























He died after 3 weeks, the coroners report stated cause of death as van aeriel disease.

Yeah Chip has a point, a mate of mine hired a van in London, when he was loading the back he stepped on a nail, it went through the sole of his shoe and into his foot and he caught HIV
