Not the eastern european variety.

At the bottom of my drive there is a light/pole sitting there & were it is i want to build a wall so i can mount gates onto it.

I only want it moved 10 yards.

Who would i contact to see if this is feasible. I will pay the costs.

Thanks

From what you are saying, it sounds to me like this street light is on the public highway and your property boundry would finish before this so imo I don't think you have got a chance of getting it moved, too much hassle for the council even if you do offer to pay. I may be wrong ?

I had this with my last property and I was going to increase off road parking. I contacted the council and the guy came out to have a look. The pole was on my property yet was not detailed on the deeds and apparently I could have charged them rent ???
I was quoted £400 to get it moved. In the end I didn't bother as ........ I couldn't be bothered

Had a quote for one at the end of my drive. Council are happy to move it (providing you have a legitimate reason for doing so) but I would have to pay the £600 cost of doing so.
