Disgusting...I understand the reasons behind these moves, we have 2 depts being outsourced at the moment, as the article says its not as if there not making enough money...

If i had a barclaycard, id ditch the bloody thing in protest

why do u care where the call centre is for a credit card? i cant recall ever speaking to a CC company on the phone...why would you???

why do u care where the call centre is for a credit card? i cant recall ever speaking to a CC company on the phone...why would you???

Probably because 600 jobs are being axed just so a company that make Billion of pound profit a year can make even more by paying an India £1 a day.

I for one slam my phone down if I'm ever phoned up by an Indian call centre. In time Britain will be a 3rd world country, as more and more jobs will go abroad.

Lucky for me I cancelled my Barclay card just a couple weeks ago. otherwise I'd have done it today.

AMEX gets my business now- first class customer service.
