I love the use of the phrase "we'd like to pay for repairs".

Really big of them seeing as it was their responsibility and they don't have a leg to stand on

But what are they going to do for the motorist who fails his MOT in 10 months time because his cat' has failed prematurely because it was damaged by silicon poisoning?

To cover their costs I'm sure Tesco will be suing their petrol supplier.

Afterall they would have bought the fuel in good faith. Tesco can't test every fuel truck that drops fuel off.

Yes Tesco are responsible for the sale of fuel to it's customers, but they have been caught up in something that really wasn't their fault.

No doubt a deal with the Petrol supplier has been done. Afterall, Tesco could buy all future Petrol from someone else.

I bought Tesco petrol the other week and I stubbed my toe on my kitchen door... I want compensation...
I wonder how many other people have had something happen to them since buying Tesco petrol?
