This is scary stuff! The UK seems close to tipping over the edge (if not already gone over) into a place where I don't want to live ... my son is 5yrs old, what sort of a life does this place hold for him in 10-15yrs? It's very, very depresing (spell?).

I grew up right near North Prospect. Or 'swilly' as it was known.
It was bad then, but it seems that the people who grew up there when I was a kid have now had kids themselves and unsurprisingly we see things like this. I don't see how / where / when there can be a break in that chain, and with this particular part of the population sprogging like rabbits a)to claim benefits and b)because they are too ill educated as to social responsibility, it paints a dark picture for our future IMHO.

What I mean dave (although tongue firmly in cheek) is that if that were two dogs, we'd have them put down as humans bred them and baited them as fighting animals.
