Default freeview on pc?

do these work?

do i need an additional aeriel?

is this a decent one?

Never tried one. "Built-In retractable VHF/UHF antenna for clear reception" is the bit that concerns me. Might not work too well in areas where reception is poor.

I've got this one

clicky

Works perfect when plugged into the house's main aerial but never had anything out of it with the aerial that comes with it. Even resorted to driving to different places in the car and trying again, still nothing. I live 8 km from the Nottingham transmitter, drove there, still nothing.
Gave up in the end and consigned it to the bottom drawer

Hello

I have a Hauppauge Digital one and it works fine. The one I have is a mixture of Analogue and Digital so can receive everything.

I have this one Hauppauge Digital: WinTV-HVR-4000

Works ace, just gotta set up the rest of the PVR right - WMCE is being a pain.

I'm looking at the HVR-4000 too - how much did yours set you back? Aren't they in the region of 150 notes?
