If anyone is interested then I'd recommend teaching English in Japan as a job whilst straight out of college 'cos the money sucks. Great experience though.
If you've got an English degree or proper teaching qualifications then you could join the Japanese govt JET scheme or teach at a university, they make decent wages.
Just be warned, many a gaijin has intended to go for just a year or two but ends up getting married and staying for the long haul.
