Default Good MTB tyres for muddy boggy flooded tracks!

Can anyone recommend any? Mine suck

check out the tests in the latest mags. The ones that spring to mind are called something like "Salt and pepper" one been designed for the front the other the rear.

I have Continentals. Were only £13 each from Edinburgh Bike Co-op, yet a great compromise between mud plugging and acceptable rolling resistance.

For proper mud, I'd vote for either Bonty Mud-X or Panaracer Trailrakers (known as Trailwreckers amongst the guys I ride with).

The narrower the tyre, the better it will cut through the mud to find something underneath to grip. Downside is a small contact patch so less grip in corners. Well, that's the theory I understand

Yeh Panaracer Mud Pro's are good tyres, probably the best ive riden on over the last 15 or so years of riding. Look on ebay for bargains or wiggle.
