Is this still a good deal for someone wanting a reasonably priced HD-Ready 32" Television??

Budget is really max of £450 and max size is 32" as well. Just need to double check before I recommend it to her.

I wouldn't waste £50 on that junk to be honest. You do know that the picture quality is awful and the sound quality none existant, it has no speakers !

If that is your budget - go for a second hand panasonic plasma or a samsung lcd in about 6 months
