Help with cooking indian food?
i've tried various recipes off the internet and also from cook books on how to make chicken madras, although they always taste very nice they never taste anything like a chick madras.
This is the latest recipe ingredients i've used, nice but again did'nt taste or look anything like a chick madras.
50ml veg oil
1tsp mustard seed
2 medium onions finely chopped
1inch piece of root ginger finely chopped
3 garlic cloves crushed
2tsp turmeric
1tbs ground corriander
1tsp hot chilli powder
1/4tsp ground fenugreek
2tsp ground cumin
1tsp black pepper
600ml of coconut milk
1tsp salt
2bay leafs
3green chillis
juice of half a lemon
8 chick pieces
Can anyone tell me a good recipe that tastes the same as it would from an indian take away. Or is there any Indian food cooks on here who can help me out.
