I got to that level a few years ago, and found I could'nt stay awake in the evening classes it was that uninteresting and not relevant to my actual day to day work, needless to say I quit the course.

Its a good way into the financial world
If you haven't gone through the degree route it can be a way into ACA or ACCA
Also even if you don't want to progress further its a great standard for bookkeepers / Small Company accountants

I'm starting to see what you mean movi-star, intermediate was ok...but technician is just a load of non related to work crap, ill stick it out though. i was thinking 'heard it all before' of going onto acca if i can. Cheers for that.

I completed the AAT. Couldn't be bothered to go on to do ACCA or ICAEW so i got a job out of practice instead and now do management accounts.

Yeah, tell me about it. They could make it a little more interesting. I only read the tutorial sections. Just had the worst exam ever with PCR, it was a joke I haven't met one person happy with it
