what would you do if your daughter drank this!!??
it was my daughters 6th birthday yesterday so we had a party for her. it was a very special party. its the first time she had ever had one as we are usually in Florida for it.
when the kids had started eating i gave them all a drink but my little un complained that her bottle of Panda Still Blackcurrent tasted funny, anyway to cut a long story short this was in her drink
it is about 2" wide and is grey with black spots and rings on it. around the outside it looks like a jellyfish. there are loads of bits in the drink as well
she had drank half of the bottle before we noticed it was not right.
it ruined her party as all the kids(girls) refused to eat anything else and i spend the rest of the time phoning A&E and Health Call etc. i was very worried as she is allergic to pennicllin(sp) and i thought the discusting thing in her drink could be something related to penicillin. i suffer anaphlaxis myself so i was terrified she would get very ill. luckily she is ok
i have called trading standards and they have told me someone will call me back within 48 hours..............surely there is something i can do as i think tis is very serious
any ideas.......................?
have notified the store where it was bought yesterday but havnt spoken to anyone who can deal with this yet

Could it not just be a Blackcurrent ?? After all it is a Blackcurrent drink.
I wouldn't worry, and phoning A & E seems like a total waste of time. What were they going to do? Unless your daughter and her friends are vomiting or sh1ting blood, I'd suspect it's harmless.
Best thing to do is contact the manufacturer and email your photographs, as shown above. I'm sure they'll be very apologetic and you could get a Free case of Blackcurrent drink.
Taking them to court for compensation is just pointless. If no one was hurt, put it down to experience.

i called A&E because i was worried. i called the surgery and they advised me to as she has allergies, wouldnt you if your daughter ingested something dodgy?
i have called Enviromental Health but am waiting a call back. i have also contacted the drinks people who are now looking into it, they want me to send the jellyfish thing to them so they can test it. for all anyone knows the drink could have been tampered with
when i tried to pour it out of the bottle it got stuck
