Excellent! Bit of a Madness fan myself, went to Madstock II and III
Very funny to see scary looking skinheads bopping along to their songs in Finsbury Park.

The supporting acts I recall at the Madstock events were:
Space
Catatonia
Finley Quaye
Mike Flowers Pops
Squeeze
Have to say Squeeze live was pretty darn good, as was Space.

hmm, so perhaps it was III and IV then Fantastic regardless though.
I rememer Cerys getting some stick on account of her being a bit welsh and England were playing (think we won the match).
Bloody good day out

Well, had a great time the BIC was packed out with middle aged two tone fans wearing trilbies and braces .
The Aggro lites from America were supporting, they were good but a bit new for most of us in the audience.
Jerry Dammers was spinning records during the interval

Here comes the boat only half afloat, oarsman grins a toothless smile,
Doesn't seem to care no more wind in his hair as he reaches his last half mile.
What a tune
Gonna have to put one step beyond CD on tonight when i get home now.
I saw them at a Matinee performance for the kids in the afternoon (de montfort hall Leicester) on the one step beyond tour. 13 years old in my Harrington jacket, staypress trousers, Apple turnover shoes with about 20 Segs in each sole

I saw them many years ago in Finsbury Park. Think it was the first and second ones they did there. Wings of A Dove went down a storm at the first gig
