Where can I leave my bag in central London?
I have just booked 3 nights in London just before Christmas but on the last day im there I need to leave my bag somewhere when I check out.
Do stations have all day lockers? as the hotel does not have a luggage room and if they did I wouldnt trust them!

Just pop it on a train on the underground, circle line, with some Musilm literature/headgear resting on it ..................... no-one will touch it - pick it up whenever you like

Why not ask for a late check-out and then leave your bag with the bellboy or whatever they are called. They will look after your bag -- just give 'em a tip and you're sorted.

There are bag watchers provided on every street corner in London.
They smell funny, and are usually dirty, but this is just due to the length of time spent outside in all weathers providing a service for visitors to the capital.
Just leave all your valuables with them, and claim on your insurance when leaving the center of multicultural Britain.
These unassuming heroes, are so focused on providing customer satisfaction, that they will take your cherished possessions before you, yourself realise what a chore it was carrying them. This service is provided at knife point if required.

All the mainline stations have "over the counter" baggage services IIRC.
There are definately ones at Waterloo and Paddington..
Hang on...........
Here you go
Rail Station Services, Left Luggage, Baggage Storage, Excess Baggage, Luggage Retail

I have stayed in hotels just about everywhere and a luggage room normally consists of a room that people constantly go in and out. obviously they are a goldmine if some one can slip in an pretend to be picking up there bag or maybe swap the labels over for a bag that there friend just deposited
i would much prefer it to be in a luggage place that will take full responsibility for it.

With regards to the OP, I still wouldn't leave anything exceptionally valuable in the stations, I have used these services before with no problems, but they are not big heavy duty lockers, more like a nightclub cloakroom! And I do agree with your sentiments regarding leaving luggage in the hotel. I have stayed in some very nice places, and come back to find my case sitting in a corner in reception!
