I know it wasn't you, she was driving a merc, although she was blonde!
You know the roundabout, with tesco's on it in Hatfield.
She drove round the outside of it (IE, left hand lane all the way round it) from A1 south exit to A1000!!!! Then wondered why she got a very angry honk out of me.

Approach roundabout in center lane, (left goes to A1 north), once past A1 turning, drift left into the left hand lane and when lights change straight on! Its not difficult!

my phone fits very snuggly into the steering wheel so thats how i use mine with the loud speaker on. i used to put it in the sun visor behind the clear plastic strip but it flew out a while back and landed in the road

I linked my w810i up to my Kenwood head unit using the standard handsfree connector (minus the earphones), which I connected to an adapter which plugs into the CD changer socket on the head unit. Works perfectly* - proper handsfree for about a tenner!
Don't really use the phone when driving that much though, but it's good for playing MP3's through, although my head unit plays MP3s anyway!
*until I snapped the phone cradle on the way home tonight!

I don't have a headset, it makes you look like a ****.
And I don't answer the phone when I drive, simple as that. I'm not a slave to my phone like mot people. In fact the only reason I have one is so I can make calls whenever i want, not so that people can call me whenever they want.

I really find them to be an intrusion, people "expect" you to always be available, some even get angry when you don't answer.

It was a PITA with the Toyota, and now it looks like it's going to be a Right Royal Expensive PITA with BMW. Just been googling/searching their boards for people who don't want to use bluetooth. Or even if they do, there are still a limited number of phones that are compatible. Of course, mine isn't one of them.
Why is it, that with all the laws saying you should use a phone hands-free, they make in-car kits as expensive and as non-compatible as possible?
Forget asylum seekers etc, this REALLY gets my goat.
