Labour immigration policy
Recently Slough Borough Council announced that they had an extra 12,000 people living off the books ie in the black economy.
To prove this to the government they had to weigh the sewage as proof and it came up around 10,000 people extra. I thought this was funny at the time. However I've just come back from Tesco's and I counted over 14 cars in the car park was Eastern European numberplates.
With some reports stating that 1000 people per day are coming in from other European countries to live and work. It is disappointing to see that there are still no limits on immigration.
Is immigration a bad thing? I'm not sure
Is this the biggest immigration influx the UK has ever seen it has to be?
I can't think of any other migrations in the past that have been anywhere near as big as this.

Immigration can be good and bad just depends on the people who come over here.The main problem is keeping tabs on them as you said the large amount of foreign plate vehicles in the car park if they are involved in an incident how many are insured,taxed or even have driving licences and how many speak English the police can barely keep tabs on UK drivers with no insurance etc.

Immigration policy?
We don't have one do we?
We should celebrate our tolerace and multi-culturalism and welcome everyone and anyone (from the Muslim bros to the Eastern block gangs). There should be no vetting and no controls, and once we let them in we shouldn't impose any kind of monitoring or make any efforts to track them. All immigrants are good and we must embrace them - especially the muslims - they are our best friends. All immigrants are here because they love British values and that must never be questioned.
Don't believe that it matters that our infrastructure can't cope, our little island is full, crime is rising, social cohesion is disintigrating etc - we owe the world a favour and eventually this immigration will make everything wonderful.

If they are in the UK legally and they are happy to work, abide by the laws and regulations of the country they are living in, are not inciting hatred and violence towards others/the country they are in, and they are happy to work and not abuse the benefit system then I'm more than happy for them to be in the UK.
If on the other hand they are here illegally, kick them out. If they are inciting hatred and violence, kick them out. If they are abusing the benefit system, kick them out. If they are wishing to change the laws and regulations of the country to better fit what they believe in, kick them out.
