Default Is argos still doing vouchers of for more you spend?

Before u say-i have been on argos website and cant find answer-so all i wanna know are they still doing offer where if you spend £50 you get a £5 off voucher to use at another time?

i.e if i went in and brought a £50 gift voucher would i then automatically get another £5 voucher for free-then if i brought something with that £50 voucher there and then i would then get another £5 voucher with purchase.......so all in all i would have a tenner in vouchers plus the item for £50-does this make sense?

I doubt it. I would imagine you only get the £5 for a purchase. When you then use the vouchers you are simply exchanging the thing you purchased (The Vouchers) for some real goods.

I on the other hand used the Nectar points I've been gathering to get a Sony MP3 player. They handed over the player for £4.99 and gave me a voucher for £5 - As my nectar points covered the rest of the 69.99 purchase price .

New promotion starts tomorrow for £5 voucher on £50 spend and £10 on £100 or more.

In answer to your question if you buy the first £50 voucher then yes you will get a £5 promotion voucher however if you then pay for something with that voucher you won't get another. There is a clause in the T&C's about it. Also stores are warned to be aware of anyone trying this and are told to refuse if they believe someone is trying to exploit the offer.

Cheers Rob

yes it will work but as you point out the only gain is being able to use the voucher straight away rather than walking away with a £5 voucher for use before Feb 2007

only advantage being if item u was buying was just under 50 quid by a few pence-if u first buy a 50 quid voucher-then use that to buy item-u would walk out with item plus a 5 quid voucher-otherwise spending just a few pence under 50 quid u wont get a voucher

if you buy a voucher it can be done in any denomination you want upto £999 on one voucher. The free £5 voucher will be seperate as it has an expiry date of Feb 2007.

Any more questions ?

When you get your vouchers for the offer of £5 for every £50 and £10 for every £100 these normally have to be used by a certain date best thing to do is buy a ARGOS GIFT VOUCHER with them as these don't have a use by date, so you can save them to use as and when you want to.
