Radio Alarm Clocks
OK Guy's / Gals
Am looking for ideas / suggestions for a new radio alarm / clock to go in the bedroom. Looking for something a little different from the norm.
Can anybody suggest / recommend anything?
Cheers
Andy

My 'alarm clock':
Amazon.com: JVC RVB90 Urban Assault Kaboom (Green): Electronics
Whilst it will deafen your neighbours it also has a sleep function lasting up to 120 mins (in 30 minute segments) and will come on playing tapes, cds or the radio at whatever time you like

Only problem is the granularity of the volume control... there isn't any. It's loud or quiet, with no middle ground

Some cracking suggestions there guys
Gonna have a quick read through them
But at first glance I like the following suggestions.....
TopBananas - Jacob Jensen - seriously like the look of the one on the right but it also looks expensive
Terzos - Chronos
Chris L - Oregon
Alcazar - thanks for the info on the Sony. I'm quite prone to buying Sony products!!
Special prize to ScoobLou for suggesting the Wallace and Gromit one - usually I'd short list this one but unfortunately it won't go with the room decor

At the moment it's looking like a toss up between the CHRONOS (depending on size) and I found this one which I quite like the look of
John Lewis - Roberts DAB Digital Clock Radio, CRD9
I wanna see it in the flesh tho

Whereas I have Bug TOO - Intro. Has the same sound quality benefits of the Pure DAB range (IMHO it's better than the Chronos, but not as nice as the Evoke fitted with add on speaker to make it stereo), but I prefered it to the Chronos / Tempus as it has stereo sound, pause and rewind live radio, record radio things to SD card which also does MP3 a few other natty features. And it certainly looks different. Been happy with it.
