Default Foreign Policy suggestion...

1. Insofar as we can avoid being entangled in the Middle East at all, we should.

2. Insofar as we can remain neutral in the various conflicts (not only Israeli-Arab, but Arab-Arab, Arab-Persian, Sunni-Shi'ite, Islamist-Ba'athist, and a dozen other rivalries), we should.

3. Insofar as we are forced to take sides, we should do so in a manner that does not draw us deeper into the conflict than we already are.

4. Insofar as we are forced to take sides, we should side with whomever is least hostile to Britain and closest to ourselves in civilisational character.

Yes or no?

5. We are a paltry, tiny little island whom taxes its population to death so we can mix it with the big boys on foreign policy. We should bring all our troops home and concentrate on our own societies problems before sticking our greedy little noses into other peoples for the sake of a fast buck, when ultimately it will end up costing us billions to fight an unexpectedly long war for no justifiable reason whatsoever.

Yes or no?
I am impressed

1) should be a matter of standard foreign policy.

There are also many who would argue that 2) is already true and if not entirely true it is a working objective.

3) see 1)

I can't agree with 4) as that is tantamount to selling your soul to the devil for an easy life. Sometimes principles do need to come to the fore.

Now awaits the trick, as it seems unlikely I would ever agree with you spontaneously!

Another UB cut and paste from the BNP website!

But you left out number 5 though...... why's that I wonder?

5. The principal threat to Britain, emanating from the Middle East today, is the ideological and demographic expansionism of Islam.
