Cool hello from San Fancisco... I'm on honeymoon :)

arrived yesterday and Its now 7am.
raining raining raining!!! the breaking news on the tv is its raining... a house fire in San Jose and the roads are slippy!!!
here's me thinking the news would be full of gun crime and gangland killings LOL there was mention thatthe Halloween party in SF did have a shooting between two gangs but it was pushed quickly to one side to go back to the house fire!!! (no one was hurt in the fire either!)

here for three more days and then off driving to Carmel.

see you with pix when i can

Congrats mate.

go to Pier 39 then onto Alcatraz and finally end up in the chocolate factory if you get the time. Take a look at the mountain of Sealions in the bay at the end of Pier 39 aswell.

There is also a pretty good cigar shop near pier 39 if you are that way inclined.

Fuzz, done the Pier39.. Alcatraz ferry is now off 43. doing that another day... also hiring bikes! push bikes!! to peddle over the golden gate bridge.

today its rained all day, been round the LEVI Jeans HQ today and seen the cable car museum, maritime visitors centre also the Cannery where they used to can fruit for DelMonte etc... all these are FREE!!! also walked down that really twisty road you see in all the cop shows and films.
this is it on google seach, I have better shots of it.. in the rain though!

food cheap, just had an awesome platter! couldn't eat it all... that says a lot for me.

When you go to Alcatraz, after doing the cell block tour, grab a tour guide when hes on his own and ask him if he can show you under the cell block, if theres only a couple of you they will take you on your own tour of the hidden cells under the cell block where they used to torture prisoners secretly. (this is something they dont advertise)

We did it earlier in the year and as there were just 2 of us he was happy to do it.

no!!! can't believe that!!! MUCH!
went there today, spooky place with the fog rolling off the sea nd the fog horn and sea buoy bells tolling. very interesting tour, they have a new audio tour now and that only started wednesday. well worth the $18.75 each and we were there over 4hrs! can't wait to show you the pix.

over the 30yr history it only housed 1500 inmates and only held approx 200 at a time!!

Take a flight to the Grand Canyon (pretty sure they do copter flights from Vegas) - would be a shame not to see it while you're in the area .
