Yes not the best 30 either AFAIK, still £2.99 is good value or could just download a free C64 emulator, acquire games roms and play *all* of the thousands of C64 games available!

I had the Atari version of this, never used it. Would be great for kids though.

I had a X360, but still found myself playing MAME instead when i fancied gaming.

Guess you can't beat the oldies:

Hunchback
Triad 64
Defender of the Crown
International Soccer (on cartridge )
IK+

The list is endless, when games were games!!

Gah, no 'Thing on a Spring'

But if it's got Paradroid, then I'm having one.

I'm still desperate to kill that '888' !

it is only for pure nostalgic reasons ppl play old computer games

the vic 20 and c16 were for the stupid people without any money

the spectrum 48k with its rubber keypad was for the serious gamer who learnt to w@nk at the age of 10

the 128k spectrum with built in tape recorder was for the wealthier 'whose got all the money...we have we have' posh kids who were not breast fed

the C64 was for the person who thought he was 1 up on the speccie owner in terms of games quality but only learnt to w@nk at the age of 12

the BBC micro/Acorn electron was for the pubeless geek who got hard writing mindless programs that flooded the screen with the letter "a"

the Amstrad with the green monitor was for the colour blind fool who still does not know how to w@nk

all they had in common was the mass piracy of tape-to-tape games and 'will it load will it load...no b0llocks its fukin crashed!!!!'

i downloaded the spectrum emulator and played all the 'ultimate play the game' games again

i lasted about 10 mins

at the time they were cutting edge and beautiful

now they are w@nk and only true geeks or nerds would play them seriously for any longer than 2 mins

Lord Shrek.......Elite with its stickman graphics was out of this world once upon a time but now is utter toss

Vic20 = Early adopter - stuck with the POS when C64 came out

Speccy = Just got on with it, occasionally said C64 was ****e to program, like they bothered anyway. Had the most playable games.

C64 = Thought they were the daddies, went on about sprites and sound, once they had sat through 20 minute loading times on the early games, nice machine to own as it was big in the states lots of slick games.

BBC = The posh kid whose parent bought a computer for homework, they kind of liked the kudos of a 399 quid machine but secretely wished for a c64

Electron = Like the BBC micro but without the reasurringly expensive tag and hence no kudos, bought by parents for the educational value, usually by the aspiring but poor parents, was actually nearly a BBC micro but played even less games.

Amstrad, never knew anyone who bought one ?

Spectrum 128, plus 2, plus 3, for those who hadnt noticed the Amiga being released.

They do all, however look utteryly ****e compared to a 20 quid pc off Ebay, I love progress but a tiny 1% part misses the old stuff, mainly cos with modern ones there is too much to do, dont really ever get the most out of any piece of software or hardware.

I had a C64 and a Spectrum due to doing three paper rounds, never got chance to use them as was always deleivering f*ckin papers.
