Quick one.
Man gets arressted for something. If he is then released on bail for ten weeks does that mean he was actually charged ?
Cheers

If you are arrested on suspicion of committing an offence, you must be charged as soon as there is enough evidence to do so - in other words the police can't continue to interview you in the hope of finding out other information.
As stated by others, if you are released on bail it means that there is not enough evidence to charge you at the time - further evidence would have to come to light during subsequent investigations in order to charge you when answering bail.

But isn't that exactly what the cops are doing with Lord Levy? Interviewed again on the peerage thing and again released on bail (if I have my facts right)?

They can only interview him about other information or allegations that have come to light since the original interview.
