Old electro music
I'm after some old electro tunes that I used to listen to. If anyone has them on file could they email them to me? The tracks are:
Hip Hop Be Bop, Man Parrish
Freakazoid, don't know the artist
Scorpio, Grandmaster Flash.
The Smurf, ? Tyrone and someone?
The Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam song that came before ' I wonder if I take you home'
Any help appreciated.

I used to have them on vinyl, think there was a series of them Electro 1 through to 10. Those were the days.
Have you tried HMV, failing that car boot sales?
I used to do the odd spot of breaking, before I found women

Fantastic! Shane if you could host them that would be great! I had quite a few of them on vinyl but have lost/damaged them over the years. The only one I've got left in decent nick is the Planet Rock double album.
Used to love the Newcleus album especially computer age! Boogie down bronx was a fave, I knew all the words off by heart
I watched the Christian Bale film, Harsh Times a few weeks ago and they played 'play at your own risk' in the background and I suddenly thought I need to rebuild my collection of this music!
I'll try limewire aswell.

I had Afrika Bambaata - Planet Rock on 12" vinyl import still in it's original film sleeve. Many years later I was a bit skint and gave it to my sister's boyfriend as a birthday pressie. He was a DJ and had been hinting that he'd like to take it off my hands for ages. Apparently it's now worth a few bob
To make matters worse over the years I also gave him my Rappers Delight 12" import and a few other valuable records. Him and my sis then split up after three years

Top Tunes, goes back to my school days when I was REALLY into the emerging electro scene. For me, 'Rockit' (Herbie Hancock) held good memories...along with loads of Afrika Bambaata stuff and also stuff the names of which I can't even remember! I then got SERIOUSLY into the acid scene in the late 80's (probably why I can no longer remember things... , much of which I have on vinyl (well over 250 x 12's - many of which were white labels and also a signed copy of a Fingers Inc Gatefold who I met in Croydon of all places, an Ozone press of Orbitals 'Chime' , A white label of Krush's 'House Arrest' and many others!) Happy days....
