anyone know the opera the closing music to hannibal is from? i like a bit of opera now and then
i'd rather have the proper album as it were, rather than the film soundtrack. i tried to see who it is on the end credits, but couldnt figure it out. is it Dante or summat?
as u can see, i'm not very cultured, but i know good music when i hear it

any ideas anyone?

I've just downloaded it on Gnotella, its Opera alright pretty cool Opera as it goes (never thought I'd say that!)

ok, just did the search. apparently it is vide cor meum. its written by a bloke called patrick cassidy, sung by some opera types( beautifully sung as it happens) with words taken from dante's la vita nuova ( which means sod all to me )
so, the hannibal soundtrack album it is then. as it happens, all the online reviews themselves have said they wished the final track was longer. just gotta hit the repeat button i s'pose
