Depressed children
So,no such thing as this attention deficit disorder. It is a myth then.
Modern kids are mental and depressed due to the tele tubbies, lots of TV , adverts ,mobiles, the internet and no fresh air.
I could have told the experts that.Took long enough for them to work it out

I said this donkeys ago, same as all the drugs, allergies and inhalers. I am not that old, but there was like one ginger kid that got ill and took drugs and an inhaler and that was it. Every other kid was MADE to do P.E., made to swim, made to run cross-country and none of them cried for their mummy.

There's proper depression and what is caused by tech overload, crap food and inactivity.
I get bored, listless and peed off, I go for a walk, soon feel better. So it stands to reason that idle kids that eat McDonalds and play video games all day will feel crap.

They need to use a bit of imagination and find something interesting to do instead of expecting the world to do it all for them.
We used to go fishing and make go carts with pram wheels etc. and go onto some common land with a few hills and fall off them most of the time. Great fun!
As they say, idle hands is not good. There must be plenty of things to do these days if they do a bit of thinking for themselves.

Those are important, but they aren't all that's needed. It's very easy to knock people with depression until you experience it yourself, of someone close to you has it. Whatever the causes, it's a very real problem.
Never has such an ironic post been made towards me

Think my input in the above thread probably covers it

And I'm speaking from experience, sadly you are not the only one with experience in this area.
Edit: I'd like to elaborate but I'm not going to.
Edit2: I've just read your comments, very interesting and I'm glad things are working out for you now.
