Blackberry question about editing text.
Just got a work 8703 Blackberry and something is really annoying me.
When I write an email on it, then realise I have made a mistake halfway through a line of text, I cannot seem to be able to skip back through the text to edit it.
All I seem to be able to do is go to the end of the line with the mistake in it, then delete the text until I get to the mistake, change it, then re-write the text all over again which surely I shouldn't have to do ??

Olly what are you talking about? Crackberries are fab and wouldn't be without mine!!!
A couple of things - have you tried holding the SHIFT key and turning the wheel? This, on mine at least, lets you scroll along the line instead of up and down the page.
2nd thing... don't suppose you bothered to RTFM?
Sorry, I know.... silly Q..... and no, I'm not a girl....

Hello
I didn't read the manual, and it annoyed me for a while. The answer is above you hold down the bottom left key (shift) whilst using the wheel and it'll go right/left rather than up/down.
And I must admit that Blackberries are a curse and a blessing. I feel the need to answer my (work) email almost continually irrespective of where I am.

RTFM or RTFI both usually come only as a last resort and then you realise you have binned it

I've got an 8700 and it seems quite OK. Got it autolinking on my SE BT car kit and it is fine and more reliable than my XDA2i ever was.
I only get reception problems where I live but all O2 is poo around there.
