I really don't like conspiracy theories or the notion of dark forces but who are the people that are driving such things as this? Basically what's the ulterior motive because it won't be anything for the good of the people.

I suppose its a bit different to the old style of doing things and going to war invading the countries you want to take control of

EU is only about power for those in power
We need to come out of Europe...
Better to ally with the US and be a pampered lap dog than be raped and pillaged by Brussels!
EU policy and proposals are really scary, steath and deciet all the way starting from when Edward Heath led us blinkered and castrated into the EEC - he knew exactly whet the big plan was...

Whilst I am very much against having my national identity eradicated, we must remember that the EU accounts for 54% of our overseas trade - £225 billion for 2005.

It will be all to do with Jean Monnet, the original advocate of a federated Eu in 1947. He said that people would object to losing their sovereignty so the Eu federation should be introduced bit by bit until it is too late to stop it. Like what is happening now!
No wonder we were not allowed to have our referendum about it all by Billy Boy.
