Immigartion Officer (Career change)?
The Immigration enforcement and removals department are currently recruiting people in my area as assistant immigration officers.
Im a bit fed up with my job at the moment and this sounds like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is its a fair wage cut as the start of 14k/year plus 12.5% shift pay.
Anyone in the Immigration service or know anything about them?
I have looked on google but fancy some inside information.

It seems an interesting job and its musch closer to home than my normal job (80 mile comute).

Scott, if you feel that the wage suffices your demands/ needs, go for it! You will save on travel rahter than, looking like a ponce on 20K who spends 10k on travelling like a fool!
Good luck.

First, get yourself a blind eye then practice turning it.
Also make sure your maths is up to scratch e.g. for every 100 people coming in write 7 on the stats.
You shuold easily get the job.
