He's always done it, it's quite annoying. Can't wait to see all the bring back Blair threads once Brown is in. I seriously doubt Brown will ever win a general election. Always the bridesmaid never the bride.

What makes you think the lights are on?

Flash the goldfish(I like that ) would be a disaster in my opinion. He detests the middle class upwards and would use his greater power to give us a worse time even.

Are any of you guys posting about Thatcher actually old enough to remember what the country was like during her time? ie 35+.

I'm no fan of Blair or Brown's but I certainly wouldn't want a return to those times, the instability, massive unemployment, interest rates etc. etc.
IMO she ruined the Tory party and turned the party into the mess it has been in recent years.
Even Cameron has realised this and has tried to distance his party from her.

Cheers

http://go.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle....log/GetContent

An opinion poll in The Daily Telegraph newspaper suggested 58 percent of Britons want Blair to resign before the end of the year and 44 percent as early as this month.

It doesn't say how many want him shot by firing squad though

LOL, people wanting a return of Thatcher.

Thought I saw a post on another thread about the last government being better than this, that would be John Major then. Reality check people.

Most people remember the Thatcher years and that's why Cameron is distancing himself and the party from her.
